Inspirational trip to the Eastern Coast

On Friday afternoon I traveled to attend the funeral of a colleague's brother. Anloga is located in the Volta Region on the eastern coast of Ghana.

The next morning I woke up early, had local breakfast in town and decided to hire a taxi which took me to Keta.

Keta and the Far East Coast

"A dramatic feature (...) is the Keta Lagoon, which is the largest in the country at 40km long and 8km wide. The lagoon is (...) seperated from the sea for much of its length by a strip of sand less than 1km wide, causing some concern that many of the settlements on this stretch of coast will eventually be swallowed by the sea."
